Challenge

Planning a trip with friends today is an unstructured, scattered process. Most groups rely on a mix of chat apps (e.g., WhatsApp), spreadsheets, note-taking tools, and travel websites to suggest, discuss, and finalize a trip itinerary. This creates decision fatigue, miscommunication, and frustration due to the lack of a centralized, collaborative space for planning.

Jobs To Be Done

“When I'm planning a group trip with friends, I want a way to collaboratively suggest, discuss, and finalize the itinerary so that the process feels organized, democratic, and efficient.”

Target Audience

  • Young adults (22-35 y/o) planning group trips.

  • Socially active, digitally native, spread across cities.

  • Use multiple apps (WhatsApp, Sheets, Notion), creating planning friction.

Current Solutions

  • WhatsApp for chat.

  • Google Docs/Sheets for itinerary.

  • Instagram/Google Search for ideas.

  • Booking via individual travel apps.

Is the Problem Solved Today?

No. No single mobile app allows collaborative planning, discussion, decision-making, and booking in a seamless experience.

Guiding Questions

  • How can we minimize tool-switching?

  • What if friends could comment/vote on ideas within the app?

  • What does the overall planning experience look like?

  • How can we make this fun and not feel like a chore?
